Gate In-Line Series Circuit

The diagram below illustrates a gate-top fence circuit when the gate is CLOSED. Here the gate In-Line Contact enables the gate-top circuit to be an integral part of the over-all fence circuit. Cutting the wires or interfering with the gate will break the circuit and trigger an alarm. 

The diagram below illustrates a gate-top fence circuit when the gate is OPENED. Here the current from the fence will pass through the gate contact and under the fence to complete the circuit and allow access.

To detect an intruder forcing the gate open, a Mag Contact linked to the energizer gate alarm, can be installed to monitor the gate status.
